The festival crowds have eased and Nantucket settles into its summer rhythm — warm nights, packed dance floors, and some genuinely great touring acts rolling through the island’s best rooms. Here’s who’s playing where over the next few weeks, and the easy way to ease into the evening, ACK Natural style.
The Chicken Box
The legendary roadhouse on Dave Street is where island summer nights run late. Most bands hit the stage around 10 p.m.:
- Andy Frasco and The UN June 23 and 24
- Wheeland Brothers — Sunday, June 28
- Eddie 9V — Tuesday, June 30 & Wednesday, July 1
- Jammy Buffet (the Jimmy Buffett tribute) — Tuesday, July 7 & Wednesday, July 8

The Muse
The island’s marquee music room on Surfside Road has a stacked stretch coming up:
- Sugar Ray — Wednesday, July 1 & Thursday, July 2
- Smallpools — Saturday, July 4 (a perfect Fourth of July nightcap)
- Toad the Wet Sprocket, with Glen Phillips — Friday, July 10
- Natasha Bedingfield — Monday, July 13
The big names keep coming later in the summer too — Fountains of Wayne, Mt Joy, and The Head and the Heart are all on the July calendar. Shows sell out, so grab tickets early.
The Rose & Crown
Downtown on South Water Street, The Crown turns into the island’s go-to nightclub after 10 p.m. — live local music, DJs, and karaoke seven nights a week in season. Island favorites Local Notes, fronted by Natalie Mack, hold down a weekly residency every Thursday at 10 p.m., always a fun one.
The Gaslight
Downtown’s live-music destination at 3 North Union Street pairs late-night sets with a Japanese-inspired dinner menu, and the calendar stays busy with touring and local acts:
- Porch Light — Thursday, July 2
- Arcy Drive — Friday, July 3
- Fai Laci — Tuesday, July 14 & Wednesday, July 15
They also rotate in island regulars like Buckle & Shake, Foggy Roots, the Jamie McLean Band, and DJ Pete Ahern, with karaoke on Tuesdays this summer. New shows get added all the time — their Instagram is the best place for day-of info.
Daytime sets and sunsets
If you’d rather keep it mellow, Cisco Brewers has live music in the sun most weekend afternoons, and Sandbar at Jetties Beach is hard to beat for a sunset with your toes in the sand.
The easy way to wind down
After a night out, skip the nightcap and reach for something lighter back at the house. Our THC seltzers are a refreshing, low-dose way to relax, and our effect-based edibles — Awake, Chill, and Asleep — let you match the mood of the evening. Everything’s grown and made right here on the island, the only spot on Nantucket you can say that about.
